Religion is about breaking people into camps and division, not unification. It is about using guilt and shame to control poeple and keep them in their place. It is Xenophobia and bigotry incarnate.
It is about rejecting those who disagree. It is about murder and war and control. Religion is a proto legal system with many flaws. It is about punishment, banishment and hatred. It is about lies and falsehood and rejection of science.
Religion has been behind half the wars of history according to a Dutch study so it has a lot of blood on its head. Is this good? Is this about love and peace? South America has been religious for many years and yet the people live in squallor under Dictators. Is religion good for them?
