Martin is the illustrious Leader and he has the pointer to prove it. The second in command is learning the same skills and as you can see, has a good pointer too. Being able to easily give pointers is a sign of good leadership ability.

Every good leader must learn to confidently say, follow me, I know the way even if they don't and are terrified of the steepness (just kidding).
Note the lush foliage so typical of the north coast Cedar Western Hemlock rain forest. Elderberry and Salmonberry and Ferns and many species of flowering plants can be found in this ecosystem. We found an unusual crater possibly from a cannon shell from WW11 practice.

Certitude has been replaced by dubious uncertainty and pondering seems to be the order of the moment. Loss of confidence in the leader is devastating and could initiatie a takeover by a lower ranking individual.

Appears that the old leader was able to find a way up to the top spurred on by two young chaps who bounded with boundless energy to the summit.

This hike is easy to find along the Terrace to Rupert Highway and is moderate to the alpine but harder to the top. Great views of the Skeena Valley and surrounding mountains.
