BMW has just released its new hydrogen car that emits only water. Canada's Auto industry is KAPUT because it is locked into making gas guzzlers. Hybrid gas-bio-gas is a no-go direction and a profound waste of time and money. Electricity gas hybrids are better but hydrogen would be best.
Why not sell the whole works to BMW for a dollar if they will agree to retool it for producing small to mid-range hydrogen commuter cars for Canada and for export? You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see the opportunity.
Instead of being left in the dust by an end run by Japanese and European Auto manufacturers, we should use these guys to put is in the front of the pack. Hire some Japanese Engineers from Toyota to give us the safety aspects and this would complete the package. This would be far better that sucking hind boob and being undemployed directionless Carbon Pigs like Harper's Canadian auto industry with its thousands sitting on the bones of their asses?
Vote for me and I promise that I will invite BMW to take it over if I am elected. I will also work with Obama to make the UN the overseer of global environmental political policies because the petty Fiefdom approach of national power mongers isn't working.
I will also see that comparative genomics is taught in every school in the world so that all kids understand what we are and where we came from and what our proper place is in the grand scheme of things. The middle east problem would go away if those folks knew comparative genomics and the forensic evidence that lurks there. All humans differ from each other by only 0.1 % of their genome.
